About: NewSchools Venture Fund (NewSchools) is a national nonprofit venture philanthropy that finds, funds, and supports teams of educators and innovators who are building strong schools and organizations dedicated to a more just future in education. Since 2015, NewSchools has invested in more than 110 schools that will serve over 82,000 students at full enrollment through its Innovative Public Schools portfolio.
Challenge: As a thought–leader and success–sharer in the education space, NewSchools uses valid, reliable measures of academic growth, social-emotional learning, and positive learning environments to spotlight promising and impactful school designs and practices.
