NWEA and Clever Announce Preferred Partnership

Schools using NWEA assessment solutions will benefit from tech advantages

Portland, Oregon – July 6, 2020 – NWEA, a not-for-profit assessment provider, announced today a preferred partnership with Clever, the most widely used single sign-on (SSO) portal in K-12 schools nationwide. NWEA is using Clever as their preferred rostering solution to be compatible with any student information system.

As a preferred partner, NWEA will have a seat on the Customer Advisory Board for Clever, which will enable us to be a voice for our school partners to share ways our solutions can continue to meet the evolving needs of educators. In addition, NWEA will have dedicated support with Clever and opportunities for future development. For now, the partnership is focused on automatic rostering helping all users get started immediately, securely, and smoothly, on NWEA assessments and solutions – like our new MAP Accelerator tool powered by Khan Academy. Clever is one of the top auto-rostering solutions used in 60% of U.S. K–12 schools including 95 of the largest 100 districts.

“We’re always looking at ways to make the technology better and easier for educators so they can focus their time on students,” said Kelly Goodrich, VP of Strategic Partnerships, “By deepening our partnership with Clever, it continues our commitment to provide powerful tools that further the impact of each educator.”
