Dr. LaTonya M. Goffney

Dr. LaTonya M. Goffney leads Aldine ISD, one of Texas’s largest districts, which serves more than 60,000 students. A former teacher and principal, she is a nationally recognized leader and was Texas Superintendent of the Year in both 2018 and in 2019. In 2023, she became the first African American female to serve as president of TASA (Texas Association of School Administrators).
