Dr. Faviola Cantú

Dr. Faviola Cantú currently serves as Aldine ISD’s Chief Academic Officer. In this role, she leads the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the district’s curriculum and instructional programs. Additionally, she directly supervises curriculum staff and guides instructional development. Prior to becoming CAO, Dr. Cantú served in a variety of leadership roles, including School Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Schools, Director of Multilingual Programs, principal, assistant principal, and teacher. Dr. Cantu has nearly two decades of experience in education. She has extensive knowledge of schools, curriculum, and instruction, along with a deep commitment to student success.
