Amanda Fritz brings more than 25 years of experience in the assessment industry, where she has led the design, development, and operations of a broad portfolio of products and services. As Senior Vice President of Content Solutions at NWEA, Amanda drives strategic initiatives to deliver research-based, best-in-class content that supports educators and empowers student learning.

She oversees the development of all content within NWEA assessments—including MAP Growth, MAP Reading Fluency, and large-scale solutions for state programs—across subject areas such as math, science, language arts, and Spanish. Her leadership spans multiple departments: Assessment Product Suites, Content Connections, State Program Assessments, and Content Production & Systems.

Throughout her career at NWEA, Amanda has led transformative enterprise initiatives, including the transition from paper to computerized delivery of MAP Growth, the launch of Web-Based MAP, the development of the first online OECD Test for Schools, and strategic planning efforts that have shaped the organization’s direction.

Amanda is deeply committed to NWEA’s mission and brings a passion for learning and innovation that inspires her teams and drives continuous improvement. Her work reflects a steadfast belief in raising expectations for what it means to help all kids learn.

She holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a BA in English literature from Oregon State University.
