Tammy Smith Taylor

Tammy Smith Taylor is a dedicated educator who has committed her life and career to the service of others. She is an elementary principal in South Carolina and has worked as an elementary school teacher and in a variety of capacities as a school and district leader. Tammy is currently pursuing her PhD from the University of South Carolina. Her passion for validating the experiences of Black women in the principalship and exploring how their lived experiences and leadership styles impact students’ achievement drives her research focus.
