Rachel Hawthorne brings over a decade of experience in multilingual education to her role as lead Spanish assessment designer at NWEA. A former dual-language teacher, interventionist, and district administrator, she has also served as a multilingual curriculum specialist and product developer. Having grown up and studied in Central and South America as a multilingual learner herself, Rachel brings authentic insight and a deep commitment to equipping educators and honoring every learner’s voice and language.
