Michael Koranda

Michael Koranda is a Senior Consultant in Professional Development with more than 19 years of experience as an education professional. Early in his career, he taught elementary, intermediate, and high school students. Michael eventually left the classroom and took on the role of master teacher, and then became a school improvement specialist for a consortium of 18 counties in southwest Minnesota. He joined the NWEA professional development team in 2010 and is an expert in training educators on assessment literacy and developing formative assessment users.
