Mark Morrison

Mark Morrison is a fourth-grade teacher at Renbrook School in West Hartford, Connecticut. He has been an educator for over 25 years and served in multiple capacities. He has grown into being a lead teacher and currently serves as the only male teacher of color in his school. As an educator, he is motivated to provide a positive reflection of inner city students to look toward and to help them discover the tremendous possibilities in themselves. He is very passionate about trying to increase the population of male minority classroom teachers in schools, as he feels more diversity not just in race but also gender is important.
