Genelle Faulkner

Genelle Faulkner is an eleventh-grade biology teacher at Snowden International High School in Boston and part of the Educators for Excellence National Teacher Leader Council. She has developed curriculum, provided direct instruction to explore various science topics, and encouraged the next generation of informed citizens. She comes from a family of educators and is passionate about improving outcomes for Black and brown students. She has been featured on the Boston Edtalks and was a recipient of the Shell grant award for science educators. When she is not inspiring young minds, she can be found singing to herself, writing poetry, and telling stories. Though she can also be found doing those things while she is inspiring young minds.
