Data Repair Request - Duplicate Student
To enroll a student in the NWEA system, it is required that each student have a Student ID that is unique across the district. In addition to a district-assigned ID, the MAP system assigns an internal database identifier that is globally unique and is independent of a student's district identifier. A "duplicate student" situation occurs when any one physical student has more than one internal identifier in the NWEA database. This results in a student's longitudinal testing history being incomplete.
A Data Repair Request (DRR) is required when tests for a single student are associated with more than one internal identifier. It may be possible to merge multiple student records so that a student's testing history is joined on reports. Please note that due to the complex nature of the NWEA testing system, all Data Repair Requests must be investigated and analyzed on a case-by-case basis.
This Data Repair Request may alter Teacher/Class reports, Grade reports, Individual Student reports, and District Summary Reports.
