How to upload and download data using NTE Admin 2
Network Test Environment (NTE) Admin 2 is the software used to interact with your NTE folder. The software allows you to both download your testing data into your NTE at the start of a testing season, and upload student results from the NTE after they have completed testing.
Please note: It is also possible to download individual tests using NTE Admin 2. If you simply need to add a test to the set that you have already downloaded, follow these instructions instead.
To download testing data into your NTE folder using NTE Admin 2:
- Log in to NTE Admin 2.
- In the row corresponding to the school for which you are downloading data, click the column labeled "[Click to define folder location]".
- Type in the folder path to your testing folder and click the Save icon, or click the Folder icon and browse to the folder path location.
- Repeat this process for each school for which you are downloading data. When creating school-level folders, each school should have a unique path with its own separate folder.
- Check the box(es) to the left of the school(s) for which you are downloading data.
- Check the box(es) under the "Bulk Download / Upload Action" area corresponding to the types of data you want to download.
- Please note: A complete NTE folder requires School, Test, and Student data.
- Please note: If your district is giving the MAP for Primary Grades tests, installation of the required audio files will also be necessary, and can be completed directly within NTE Admin 2.
- Click the "Start" button.
