Meg Guerreiro’s recent work has focused on improving assessment practices through advanced technology within assessments, gamification, technology enhanced assessments, and performance-based assessments. Her primary research interests include quantitative methodology within the context of educational measurement and assessment, mixed methodology, and the impact of instructional technology on K–12 teaching and learning, specifically self-efficacy, cognitive engagement, and motivation for marginalized populations.
Before working at NWEA, Dr. Guerreiro was an elementary and special education teacher. She holds a PhD in educational leadership with a focus on quantitative methodology from the University of Oregon.
