Meg Guerreiro, PhD
Dr. Guerreiro is a Research Scientist on the Advanced Research and Development team at NWEA. Dr. Guerreiro’s recent work has focused on improving assessment practices through advanced technology within assessments, gamification, technology enhanced assessments, and performance-based assessments. Her primary research interests include quantitative methodology within the context of educational measurement and assessment, mixed methodology, and the impact of instructional technology on K-12 teaching and learning, specifically self-efficacy, cognitive engagement, and motivation for marginalized populations. Previous to her work at NWEA, Dr. Guerreiro was an elementary and special education teacher. Dr. Guerreiro holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership with a focus on Quantitative Methodology from the University of Oregon.
