Discover how the PISA-based OECD Test for Schools can drive improvement in your high school

Join us for a complimentary webinar about the OECD Test for Schools. Learn how this unique and easily managed assessment puts your high schools in a global context of achievement and addresses the needs of 21st-century learning. The OECD Test for Schools shows you if your system is producing students who can thrive in a global economy.

Northwest Evaluation Association™ (NWEA™) has partnered with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) to be the official US Test Service Provider of the OECD Test for Schools, beginning with the 2015–16 school year. The test, based on the international PISA assessment, provides school-level assessment of student achievement in math, science, and reading, as well as assessing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

“I wanted to say once and for all that we’re preparing kids to be the best in the world.”

– Principal John Banbury, Oakton High School, Virginia

  • Get in-depth comparisons to school peers in the United States and abroad
  • Gain actionable insights and best practices you can use to drive strategic improvements
  • Track your school’s progress over time  to evaluate program effectiveness and drive further improvements
  • Share your success and learn best practices from peers in the Global Learning Network

The OECD Test for Schools is not a high stakes test only requiring approximately 3 hours of time and is administered online to a small sample of 15-year-old students to yield school-wide insights, not individual student results. This system-based assessment compares overall school performance to international benchmarks, while also collecting valuable information about school climate and student engagement. No other assessment provides this kind of data—and it’s being offered online for the first time by NWEA and a greatly reduced price!

Intended Audience:

School superintendents, principals, and district leadership who want to understand how their schools stack up against peer schools and be more informed with helpful data on how to make improvements in their schools.
