NWEA

As you might have seen on the news, those of us here at NWEA headquarters in Portland are experiencing a colder and snowier winter than usual (and not managing it very well!). While we have all been caught complaining about winter driving, or perhaps about being trapped for too many consecutive days at home, the winter has been much harder on some less fortunate neighbors in our Old Town Portland community.

Some dedicated NWEA employees recently decided to help out by holding the “Warm Inside and Out Book and Coat Drives.” Designed to warm both bodies and minds, the donations came rolling in from our generous colleagues. Last week the team delivered 270 coats and more than 800 books to two organizations working with the homeless – Portland Rescue Mission and Street Books.

Thank you, NWEA Staff, for Living the Mission through your generosity!
