Put Results from the MAP Language Test to Work with NoRedInk

Build a Better Individualized Education Program (IEP) using MAPWe are focused here at NWEA on how to connect assessment results from MAP to instruction as easily as possible. This is because educators – especially teachers – have told us often that time is always a challenge in their classrooms. So we’re excited to announce a new partnership with NoRedInk*, as part of our Instructional Content Providers program, that we believe will help you get the most from a sometimes overlooked part of the MAP assessment system – the language usage test.

NoRedInk lets students learn the fundamentals of grammar and hone writing skills. And now, the company’s curricululm is aligned to the MAP language usage assessment. The language usage assessment is part of MAP licenses, which also include reading and math.

The partnership is particular exciting in light of a recent study that showed impressive gains on the MAP language assessment for a cohort of students using NoRedInk.

You can read the complete complete study here.

We hope this new partnership enables you to help your students reach new heights in their understanding of grammar and in their written expression.

*Editor’s Note: NoRedInk is no longer part of our program.
