Every Student Can Grow
Helping kids discover their possibilities is what being an educator is all about.  At NWEA, we aim to provide the accurate, detailed information you need to do just that. We've observed that certain conditions can help schools foster successful implementations, including: 

• Belief in measurable growth: Knowing that students at every level-below, on, and above grade level-can grow is the foundation.
• A thirst for data-driven instruction and decision making: Imagine what would change if you knew exactly what each child needed.
• Strong leadership and a willingness to walk the journey together: Implementing change can be daunting, but high-growth schools undertake the challenge by collaborating at all levels.
• A learning culture: Openness to new input, a willingness to look at data with fresh eyes and strong professional development  support help reinforce the process.

Technical Considerations
When you partner with us, our support team works with you to configure your network environment for an optimal testing experience. Your technology will need to support these three components for effective testing:

• Network Test Environment (NTE) server: Stores the student and test database information
• Test Administration Application (TAA): Application that transfers data to the NTE server for use by the TestTaker client workstations; requires Internet access and access to the NTE server
• TestTaker workstation: Delivers MAP tests to students; requires network access to the NTE server
