Test Implementation
Implementing NWEA Assessments
First time implementation
After your district is licensed to use MAP tests, an NWEA Client Support representative will partner with you to ensure a successful implementation. Use the Implementation Steps as a guide to plan training, prepare for test administration, and access report information.
Implementing MAP tests after your first season
During future testing seasons, use these steps to access required templates and as a reminder for key benchmarks during your testing window. This information can also be used to guide and inform new MAP team members about the implementation process.
Successful assessment programs require the participation and support of all educators – from board members to principals to teachers. Before we begin looking more closely at the detailed steps involved in MAP implementation, we ask you to establish a key team that is critical in providing leadership and sustainability in the use of NWEA assessments: the District Leadership Team.
