This course is designed for teachers. It provides an overview of how MAP data relates to the classroom. It will prompt teachers to begin to think about how the data from the MAP assessment can be used to inform their instruction.

Appropriate for all teachers, this course shares how MAP data can be used to support teachers. Teachers will be introduced to the Reports Site where they can gain access to tools and resources for using the data. The course encourages teachers to begin to use MAP data to inform classroom instruction and highlights the value of growth data for decision making in the classroom.

Objectives include:

  • Gaining an understanding of how MAP data ties to instruction
  • Identifying tools and resources available
  • Using a common vocabulary to help articulate what is needed to be successful at using the tools that NWEA provides
