This entry-level course is intended to complement the MAP Administration Training by focusing on logistical information for MAP team members in preparation for testing. This course is designed to assist training new staff members added since your MAP Administration Training and as a refresher to support you in your ongoing work.

This course is appropriate for MAP Coordinators, MAP Technical Coordinators, MAP Class Roster File Coordinators, and Proctors. It may also be used as a resource for Administrators and Teachers who are involved in district leadership and MAP team processes. Included are typical scenarios and dialogues between MAP team members prior to, and after, MAP testing.

Objectives include:

  • Gaining an understanding of the purpose, expectations, and guidelines for selecting MAP team members.
  • Understanding the technical requirements and network components necessary for the testing environment.
