Errors Logging In to NTE Admin 2

If you encounter problems logging in to Network Test Environment (NTE) Admin 2, consider the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Verify that you have entered the correct MAPĀ® user name and password. Passwords are case-sensitive. If you are not sure what your MAP credentials are, contact your district's MAP Coordinator.
  2. Verify that your computer has Internet connectivity. NTE Admin 2 communicates with servers on the NWEA.org domain, and utilizes port 443 for secure communication.
  3. Verify that your MAP account has been granted adequate permissions by your MAP Coordinator. Your MAP Coordinator can adjust your MAP account permissions using NTE Admin 2's Manage Employees menu. The recommended MAP account permissions for using the NTE Administration Tool are:
    • Upload Test Results
    • Download Test Packages
    • Download Students
    • Download School Data
    • Assign Tests
  4. If NTE Admin 2 has locked you out after five failed login attempts, re-open the application and try again. If you have forgotten or don't know your MAP account login, check with your district's MAP Coordinator.
  5. If NTE Admin 2 has locked you out because an active session has timed out due to inactivity, and you have entered an incorrect login five times attempting to access the active session, wait 15 minutes before trying again. A timer will appear counting down this lockout period. Be certain you are using the same MAP account that you started with to log in and resume the same session. If a session is locked, but there are no active uploads or downloads in progress, a "Shut Down" button will appear allowing you to close the application.

If at any point you require additional assistance, please contact NWEA Technical Support at 877-469-3287 or techsupport@nwea.org.
