Error Message: "Unable to open the version.txt"

This error message usually occurs because the local network account being used to launch MAP TestTaker does not have adequate local network permissions to the Network Test Environment (NTE) folder. Your local network account must have both "read" and "write" access to the NTE folder, regardless of where MAP TestTaker is installed.

To change the permissions associated with your local network account, please contact your System Administrator.
