What happens if students take tests outside of my district's test term window?
In general, student scores from tests taken outside of the test term window established by the District MAP Coordinator are not displayed on reports. There are a few exceptions to this rule. Tests that are taken outside the district testing window but inside the school testing window will be reported. Test events taken outside any testing window are displayed in the Class Reports in gray, indicating that they are not counted as valid towards summary reports.
However, because MAP TestTaker displays the End-of-Test Score Screen Report at the end of each test, some school districts find it useful to administer tests outside of the test term window, using the End-of-Test Score Screen Report as an intake testing measure. For these purposes, as long as MAP TestTaker remains connected to a valid Network Test Environment (NTE) folder, students may test at any time.
