I added or modified a student profile in MAP TAA, but I don't see the changes in MAP TestTaker.

Sometimes there is a discrepancy between what you see in MAP TAA and what you see in MAP TestTaker. This is because MAP TAA looks at the NWEA database, while MAP TestTaker looks at your local database, the NTE (Network Test Environment).

The NTE is not updated during the Modify Student function; it is only updated during the Add Student and Move Student functions. If you can see a student record in MAP TAA, but you cannot see that student in MAP TestTaker, try one of these options to get a single student’s data into the NTE:Use the Locate Student function to move the student to and from the same school. This forces a download of just one student’s data.Re-download student data in MAP TAA. You cannot re-download while tests are being administered, though; you must have exclusive access to the NTE to download student data.

Please Note: The new release of NTE Administration software (NTE Admin) fully replaces the MAP® Test Administration Application (MAP® TAA) for downloading and uploading your MAP® data, adding and modifying students and employees, and changing class assignments.

NWEA strongly recommends using NTE Administration in place of TAA, as it includes a host of significant usability and functionality improvements, all designed to ease the process of downloading, uploading and modifying MAP® data. For more information, please visit http://www.nwea.org/adminhelp
