How to configure or modify the shared file location for a school in NTE Admin 2
If you have just installed Network Test Environment (NTE) Admin 2, you will need to configure the path to your NTE folder or folders. If the software is able to identify existing paths in the system, it will prompt to automatically import them. You may proceed with the import, or configure the paths manually. To do so, follow the steps below:
- Log in to NTE Admin 2.
- In the row corresponding to the school which you wish to configure, click the cell labeled "[Click to define folder location]".
- Type in the network path to the new location of the testing folder (typically starting with two backslashes) and hit Enter to save, or click the folder icon and browse to the new location of the testing folder. Please note: the folder path you specify must exist and you must have Read and Write access to the folder in order to specify it for use.
If you have moved the network location of your Network Test Environment (NTE) folder, you will need to update Network Test Environment (NTE) Admin 2 with the new network path so that it may interact with the folder accordingly.
To change the shared file location for a testing folder, simply follow the steps above, but click on the existing path to modify the information, or re-browse to a folder if necessary.
