How to Install or Upgrade NTE Admin 2

Please note: Network Test Environment (NTE) Admin 2 requires a Windows-based machine. 

To install NTE Admin 2:

  1. Visit the Reports Site at https://reports.nwea.org
  2. Click on the TestTaker Download link under Resources in the left panel. (If your login takes you directly to the downloads page, please skip this step.)
  3. Look for NTE Admin 2 Setup in the list of available downloads, and click on its name under the Description column. When prompted, save the file to your desktop.
  4. Launch the downloaded Setup.exe file from your desktop, and click Next to begin installation. You will be prompted to install the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 if it is not already on your machine. If this component library needs to be installed, expect some delay, as it is a large download.
  5. Once the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 has been validated or installed, you will be prompted to specify an installation location. You may set your own, or leave it as default.
  6. Click Install to proceed. Once installation completes you may launch the application directly or close for later use.
