What is the difference between the logins to access reports and the MAP Test Administration Application?

Report login information is not necessarily the same as the MAP Test Administration Application (MAP TAA) login information, although certain accounts may be used in both contexts.

  • MAP TAA logins. NWEA creates the initial MAP TAA logins, including the District MAP Coordinator and Proctor accounts; partner districts may add additional accounts as needed. MAP TAA logins are employee accounts created by the District MAP Coordinator primarily for the purposes of test administration. Examples include building-level School Administrator and Proctor accounts. These accounts can be used with MAP TAA to upload and download information between your district and NWEA. With the proper permissions assigned to a MAP TAA account, it may be used to access specific reports.

Please note: teacher accounts are not MAP TAA logins; they are Reports Site logins, and can only be created through the enrollment process and the Class Roster File (CRF).

  • NWEA Reports Site Logins. These accounts are used to gain access to Reports. Each teacher that was included in the CRF will have a unique login and password created for accessing Teacher Reports. The MAP coordinator or School Administrator in each district has a login for this site that lists all of the teacher logins for the district. If you are a teacher and you do not know your login information, contact your District MAP coordinator or School Administrator.

Please note: For your security, there is only one district-level login made available.
