Error 3 (You have encountered an error that may be related to the data you just tried to input.)

This error indicates that the MAP Test Administration Application (MAP TAA) account you are using to complete the intended action does not have all of the required NWEA permissions.

  1. Contact your local District MAP Coordinator, and ask them to sign in to the MAP Test Administration Application (MAP TAA).
  2. Within MAP TAA, select View/Modify Employee from the Employees menu. The Find Employee screen appears.
  3. Locate the MAP TAA account that generated the error using any of the search fields. Click View/Modify next to the account to be modified. After a brief wait, the employee information screen appears.
  4. Select View NWEA Agency within the available permissions box on the left. Click > to move this permission from the Available Permissions to the Assigned Permissions box. Click Submit.

Once this permission has been properly assigned within MAP TAA, repeat the initial action.

Please Note: The new release of Network Test Environment (NTE) Admin 2 software fully replaces the MAP® Test Administration Application (MAP® TAA) for downloading and uploading your MAP® data, adding and modifying students and employees, and changing class assignments.
