Why does another test start immediately after the student finishes the first test?

If a student completes a test and a second test immediately begins, this is because multiple tests were selected at the Test Selection screen in MAP TestTaker. MAP TestTaker has the ability to deliver multiple tests in a row for districts who find this an advantage.

Please note: if your district is administering MAP for Science, the two types of Science assessments, General Science and Concept & Processes, will appear as a single test.
