Tech Tips
Now that fall testing is complete, do you wonder if you’ve missed anything? Well, just remember the NWEA acronym to make sure you’re on the right track to complete the MAP testing process and prepare for the next test season.
Now verify all test results uploads.
To see test results on reports, transfer your students’ test results to the NWEA server by uploading via MAP TAA. Please see How to upload test results using MAP TAA for step-by-step instructions on how to upload your tests results. Once an upload has occurred, results will appear on the Reports Site within 24-48 hours.
Why mark your window complete.
If your district would like to take advantage of our full reporting suite (which includes aggregate data and district averages), testing must be declared complete at ALL schools within your district. Please be aware, to generate averages on district and summary reports, your MAP Coordinator must mark the window “complete” via the Reports Site and your district will need to wait 24 hours before placing an order for these types of reports.

Ensure reports have been ordered.
Certain reports are only available for two academic years, the current year and the previous year. NWEA suggests filing all of the reports your district has ordered in one place so that you can easily access them in the future.
The following reports are only available for the current year and previous academic year:
- Teacher Reports
- Online Student Progress Report
- Class Report by RIT, Class Report by Alpha
- Grade Report by RIT, Grade Report by Alpha
- Students Not Tested report
The following reports are available throughout your entire partnership with NWEA:
- Achievement Status & Growth Class report
- District Summary by Grade
- District Summary by Institution
- Individual Student Progress report (ordered version only)
- Raw data file
- Student Growth District Summary
- Student Growth Summary
- Comprehensive Data File
Be sure to check out important information including how to order, retrieve, and view end-of-term report orders.
Archive Your Data
Each term we recommend archiving the previous term data out of the Network Test Environment. This helps avoid any data corruption from one term to the next. Archiving may be done after your district has submitted the Class Roster File for the next testing term. For detailed instruction, please see Network Test Environment (NTE) Each Term To-Do List.
