Back-to-School Testing Success

It’s that time of year again when teachers and students have to put away the sunscreen and beach novels and head back to school.

To help you ensure everything runs smoothly for testing, we’ve put together some helpful checklists of everything you need to have a successful fall MAP season.

Whether you’re new to MAP testing or simply need a refresher, here are some helpful resources to get you started:

  • Getting Started with NWEA Checklist
  • Take any of our Online Trainings, which are self-paced tutorials that provide basic information about implementing MAP and also introduce staff members to optional tools and services that supplement data received from MAP assessments.

For you seasoned MAP testers, check out these more in-depth resources:

Teacher Resources

The Knowledge Academy is an online resource offering several courses to explore different aspects of MAP assessments, such as basic principles of MAP tests and information about accessing and using NWEA reports. These courses are especially useful in training new staff members and as a refresher to support you in your ongoing work.  An added plus for teachers are the online self-paced courses that provide convenient learning anytime, anywhere.

Typically this online training can take about an hour to complete, although users may pause at any time and resume the course. To access the Knowledge Academy, log in to the Reports Site.
