Spring Testing is Done! But Now Let's Prepare for Fall...
At the end of every testing season, many of us find ourselves asking: "What's next?" Before you dust off the sunscreen and head out for summer vacation, check out these helpful resources and tech tips so you'll have less work to do when school resumes in the fall.
To help you ensure a smooth transition from spring to fall testing, we recommend these two handy guides below:
The Network Test Environment (NTE) Each Term To-Do List, written primarily to help CRF and Tech Coordinators. This quick-guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to prepare your Network Test Environment (NTE) prior to each term's MAP testing window.
The Testing Season Checklist is a detailed guide that will walk you through preparing for a successful MAP testing experience.
Additional Tech Tips to Prepare for Fall
Once you declare your Spring testing window complete, do not forget to order, download, and store your ordered reports for the 2008- 2009 academic year.
Archive your NTE folder contents prior to Fall testing. How? Download the Network Test Environment (NTE) Each Term To-Do List.
Submit your Class Roster File (CRF) and optional Special Programs File (SPF) to NWEA via secure upload through the Reports site at least two weeks prior to testing.
After your roster file(s) are processed, you will receive an email notification that your data is ready for download. Further detailed instructions on how to prepare for the testing process are included such as what to do next, where to find your Enrollment Summary, TestTaker instructions, and tips if you are using MAP tests for the first time.
Recommended trainings for new MAP team members located at Online Trainings.
